This set of 5 of Italian Gilt Clouds from the 1700s are among John Derian's trove of handpicked vintage & antique goods. These cloud carvings were typically architectural ornaments used to enrich church interiors and altarpieces appearing around saints, angels, or holy scenes or were incorporated into theatrical Baroque/Rococo interior decorations.
